No prior experience is necessary to attend the first hour or the second hour.
We start with basic material for beginners, and ramp up for the highest level of dancers who attend the class. In the first hour, we emphasize the most important fundamentals that dancers of ALL LEVELS need ALL THE TIME. In the second hour, more experienced dancers are expected to work on the more challenging material, while the less experienced dancers are encouraged to stay with the most important fundamentals as covered in the first hour. Casual students may choose to come to one or the other of the two hours, but more serious students of the tango, those who want to advance faster are expected to attend both hours. The material in the second hour builds on the material in the first hour.
